Change your point of view

Yet again, I'm lacking motivation to go through all of my pictures from yesterday so I figured I would just rant for a second, but I promise that pictures and descriptions of more exciting things are to come. As I was walking back from boxing tonight, I decided to walk a slightly different route just to mix things up a little bit. I've been doing that recently because it's just not any fun to walk the same way every time. I feel like I get into these ruts in life where I am so used to doing something constantly, the same way every time, but every once in a while change is good. I feel like this study abroad has opened up a lot of these opportunities and I feel as though I have gained a lot of experience just from my two months in France. Anywho, back to the story. I decided to walk through the park instead of walking around it next to the buildings. By doing this, I could see into people rooms (kind of creepy sounding but it's cool to see how people live and the differences between here and the States) and was able to see the architecture of the building for the first time. I have walked by this same building at least twenty times, but have never taken the opportunity to actually look at the building itself. The architecture is beautiful and there was even a part of it that opened up and there was a courtyard with trees in it that I had never seen before. Overall, take the road less traveled and do a little exploring. It's good for you :)
